CLASS DAY OUT

 On the 7 of December our class had a great day out. First we went on the Vilensky walk and we got to the end Nic said Kaelyn was missing. We walked a little bit up the track and Nic said for Blake and Zain to run up the hill she wasn't there. We walked to the bench and she was there she was lying there and her group had to save her. She was pretending to have hypothermia. They put hats and fleeces on her. They did not save her. We went to Rakaitane track. We walked the track and saw the the fairy garden. There was some more fake first aid slip ups. We had lunch and went to the beach we had two competitions one hut building and the other fire building. The fire building was my favourite. But there was a lot of gorse. After that we went back to school and went home. 

    

My Minecraft education world

 I have a Minecraft Ed world and I am in hardcore mode. I know if I die I will have to delete it. At the moment I am mostly fishing because you can get more than just fish. You can get bowls, lily pads, enchanting books, and so much more. I have 20 diamonds and a farm. I figured out that you have to breed a horse by feeding them golden carrots and golden apples. I have found a village and I have built a good house. Minecraft Ed is good for learning maths.

What I am looking forward to this term

 I am looking ford to the new kids kitchen/since area. and Our topic is about water so far we have learned a little bit about the water Schuylkill. And we are learning to play netball and it is fun we have decided the teams and played one game we do not play all the rules. 

Te Kinga's bush walk

On Thursday Te Kinga climbed Mt Te Kinga we went to the third lookout, and it was muddy, I liked the mud. At the lookout we had some food and water. At the end we went to the beach and lit a fire and roasted marshmallows. We also went swimming in the lake but we could not go deeper than we could stand which was annoying. Flynn and I made a volcano which we put a fire in it and smoke came out.  

 

Writing

 In are class we had to write about natural disasters. We had to do a draft in our book and then we acted it  out so we could see if it made sense.  The last step is to write it in a document. I wrote mine about a tsunami and an earthquake my setting was at the school. This is my favourite sentence "And we flew over to where the school used to be". 

What is the value of sport and physical education at school?

 I think that there is value in physical education because you have lots of fun. You also get to meet new people and you get a day off school. You learn new skills like team work and sometimes patience. My favourite sport is fishing and over the past few weeks our class has been doing lots of fun activities, like swimming sports, athletics and top team. All of those were very fun. 

 

Learning about rocks

 

Our class is learning about rocks and the different rock types. We looked on an site of New Zealand's earthquakes, we were able to look at the fault lines in New Zealand and the magnitude of an earthquake.
